The Montgomery Chamber of Commerce October Eggs & Issues Breakfast will feature Lisa Bleakley the Montgomery County Tourism Authority on Thursday, October 2nd at the Holiday Inn in Christiansburg, VA. This month’s Eggs & Issues will give updates on: 1. Recognizing the full potential of tourism as an economic development tool requires understanding that tourists come in different packages. 2. Marketing our destination is much like marketing any product or service, it takes ALL the “P’s” and that takes careful thought and strategy. 3. We are in transit! While are very much still in the program building stage, the economic impact of tourism in our area is positive and continues to grow. The breakfast opens at 7:30 am with the program starting at 8 am. The Montgomery Chamber of Commerce Eggs & Issues are held at the Holiday Inn Christiansburg (across from the NRV Mall) on the first Thursday of every month. These events are an informative, open forum breakfast to discuss issues related to Montgomery County. Due to limited seating, reservations are required.
