Virginia Tech School of Performing Arts Theatre Department presents "The Laramie Project 10 Years Later" part two by Moises Kaufman, Leigh Fondakowski, Greg Pierotti, Andy Paris, and Stephen Belber in the Squires Student Center's Studio Theatre beginning on Sunday, November 2nd with performances continuing through Thursday, November 20th. In 1998, after a heinous and deadly hate crime against a college student in Laramie, Wyoming, members of the Tectonic Theater Project traveled to the town. Their mission was to collect interviews with locals in the aftermath of the national media swarm surrounding the event. “The Laramie Project: Ten Years Later” revisits the town in 2008 to interview the same residents featured in the first play. The performance is directed by Susanna Rinehart. Tickets are $10 for general admission and $8 for seniors and students. There is a special pricing offer if you buy tickets during the same transaction to both "The Laramie Project" and "The Laramie Project: Ten Years Later" you will get one of your tickets at half price.
