The Blacksburg Farmers Market and Sustainability Week present the Market Day Celebration and Sustainability Expo on Wednesday, September 17th. In addition to the regular farmers market, join the Town of Blacksburg, Sustainable Blacksburg, and Virginia Tech in celebrating sustainability! Representatives from each group and various other sustainability–related clubs, organizations, and departments will have booths at the Farmers’ Market where they will be ready to chat with you about sustainability efforts on campus and throughout the Blacksburg community. The Blacksburg Farmers Market offers local foods, crafts, flowers, music, and more in the heart of downtown Blacksburg every Wednesday from 2-7 pm. Come support your local farmers and artists and enjoy the benefits of a strengthened community, healthy living, and support for responsible business practices. The market is also open every Saturday from 8 am - 2 pm.
