Description: Blue Ridge Music Center presents Kripplekrunk featuring Rex McGee and The Dan River Girls on Saturday, September 13th.

Kripplekrunk features Stokes County fiddler Rex McGee and a number of other talented musicians including multi-instrumentalists Danny Knicely and John Garris. The group plays a genre bending style of music that incorporates elements of bluegrass, old-time, new acoustic, celtic, cajon, R&B, southern rock, swing, jazz, and world music . . . sometimes all in one tune.

The Dan River Girls are three sisters from Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Fiona, 14, plays mandolin and cello; Ellie, 12, plays double bass; and Jessie, 10, plays classical violin and fiddle. They study voice with Martha Bassett and traditional instrumental music with Rex McGee and enjoy performing around the area.
