Join the Blacksburg Department of Parks and Rec for a Scenic Canoe Tour of the New on Saturday, August 2, 2014. Enjoy the summer with a relaxed paddling trip on one of the most beautiful sections of the New River. Guides will provide you with a safety instruction and lesson on paddling fundamentals. Instruction, equipment and transportation included. Ages 11 and above are invited to participate. Registration Deadline: Thursday before the trip by 5pm.
