Join Chateau Morrisette for the Black Dog Music and BBQ Festival on Saturday, September 13th from 11 am - 5 pm. The festival includes live music, a sanctioned barbecue competition, food vendors and five local wineries in addition to Chateau Morrisette as well as arts and crafts vendors. Music acts include the opening act The Green Cards and the headliner Mountain Heart. The Black Dog BBQ Competition is fully sanctioned by The Kansas City Barbecue Society (KCBS). The Black Dog Wine & Music Festivals gather people from near and far and the concert field becomes a big party for music lovers. A variety of outdoor vendors offering shopping and food complete the festival atmosphere. Advance tickets are $25. Advance tickets will stop being sold at 5 pm the Friday before the concert date. Admission includes music, winery tour, tastings and souvenir wine glass. Children 12 and under accompanied by an adult admission are admitted at no charge. Young adults 13-20 and designated drivers tickets are $20 and includes tea and lemonade.
