Chateau Morrisette welcomes Randolph Walker & Lisa Angell to their Sunday Sounds Concert Series. Randolph Walker & Lisa Angell are a guitar-vocal duo. Their "retro-flavored originals" feature strong melodies recalling Simon & Garfunkel and Gordon Lightfoot. In addition to harmonizing on Walker's acoustic folk/rock songs, the Roanoke-based duo performs 60s and 70s classics as well as a handful of melodic favorites by newer writers. They have performed at festivals, churches, coffeehouses, and restaurants across Western Virginia, as well as at WVTF Public Radio studios. They have released one CD, "City of Statues."
