The Blacksburg Library hosts the Photographing Art Work (2D/3D) Workshop with Photographer David Pearce on Sunday, April 27th. The workshop is FREE and open to the public. Getting quality images of art work is important for advertising, gallery submissions, and as a record keeping tool. As an artist you want jurors to see quality images of your art. As an owner of art you want quality images for insurance purposes. This workshop will give you the information you need to make your art shine. This session will cover important technical considerations as well as practical examples using professional equipment as well as basic equipment within the reach of most artists. Both 2D and 3D work will be considered and attendees are encouraged to bring a 2D piece or small (under 12" x 12") item for experimentation.
