Join the Blacksburg Department of Parks and Rec for a Journey on the James Kayaking Trip on Saturday, June 14, 2014. Enjoy a sit-a-top kayak experience down the James River. Take in the sights and sounds of spring and potentially see osprey, hawks, otters and a bald eagle on this relatively easy section with the occasional riffle. Participants will meet at the Blacksburg Community Center before departing. Ages 11 and above are invited to participate. The registration deadline is Thursday, June 12th. Activity #230505-2.
