Join the Blacksburg Department of Parks and Rec for a Scenic Canoe Tour of the New River on Saturday, June 7, 2014. Welcome in the spring season with a paddling trip on one of the most beautiful sections of the New River. Guides will provide safety instructions and lessons on paddling fundamentals. Instruction, equipment and transportation included. Participants will meet at the Blacksburg Community Center before departing. Ages 11 and above are invited to participate. The registration deadline is Thursday, June 5th. Activity #230003-2.
