The Blue Ridge Quilt Festival will be held on Wednesday, July 9th through Saturday, July 12th at the Blacksburg Middle School. The largest quilt show in Southwest Virginia offers an extensive quilt and wearable exhibit, several special exhibits, a large vendor mall, workshops, a Friday night lecture with Jennie Rayment from Great Britain and quilt appraisals on Saturday. Featured quilt artist Jennie Rayment from Great Britain exhibits her work and will teach. Quilt Documentation Day is on Saturday. Daily admission is $7 and children under 12 are free.
