The Jacksonville Center for the Arts offers the five-day class "Handmade Bathworks: Soaps and Natural Bath Products" starting on Monday, September 8th and continuing through Friday, September 12th meeting at 9 am - 5 pm each day. Make gentle soaps for sensitive skin using the cold-process method. First comes safety - learning to work with lye. Then it's time to experiment with oils, scents, and natural additives to make custom-blended soaps. We'll also make lotion, cream, salve, lip balm, and bath salts to assemble a bath basket. All levels welcome. Additional materials fee approximately 75.00 to 130.00.
