Description: The Blacksburg Rotary Club presents the Blacksburg Chocolate Festival in locations throughout downtown Blacksburg on Saturday, May 10th.

The Blacksburg Chocolate Festival is a fun, family event for anyone who loves chocolate!

Participants will purchase $1 tasting tickets online and on the day of the event (as available) and spend a few hours strolling through Blacksburg (in and around Main Street and College Avenue) visiting stores and “tasting” their way through many chocolate delights!

The Festival will open to reveal a day filled with chocolate samplings, street entertainers, live bands, bake-off competition, gourmet chef demonstration and wine tastings, and a movie at The Lyric.

Schedule of Events:
• 11:00 am - Opening Ceremony on College Avenue Promenade

• 11:00 am - 12:30 pm - Live Music! Gary and The Brewers will play at the Farmer's Market

• 11:30 am - "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" showing at the Lyric. $1.00 Admission tickets available online and at the Rotary Club of Blacksburg tent at the corner of College Avenue and Main Street

• 12:00 pm - Gourmet Chef Demonstration: Chocolate and Wine Paring with Chef Dell Peters, Beliveau Estate, 130 Jackson Street $35.00 per person includes 5 courses and 5 wine pairings.
Limit of 30 attendees per time

• 12:30 pm - Chocolate Bake-Off Contest - Kent Square Lobby

• 1:00-2:00 pm - Live Music! Gary and The Brewers will play at the Farmer's Market

• 1:30-3:30 pm - Live Music! Awesomesauce will play at Henderson Lawn

• 2:00 pm - "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" - Showing at the Lyric. $1.00 Admission tickets available at the Rotary Club of Blacksburg tent at the corner of College Avenue and Main Street
