Live at The Lyric presents An Evening with Rita Coolidge on Saturday, April 26th. Rita Coolidge has made a long career with her particular blend of pop, country, adult contemporary and jazz. With a series of hits, including beautifully arranged covers of Jackie Wilson (“Higher and Higher”), Boz Scaggs (“We’re All Alone”) and the Temptations (“The Way You Do the Things You Do”), Ms. Coolidge has collected two Grammy Awards for her duets with Kris Kristofferson as well as serving as an inspiration for Leon Russell’s “The Delta Lady” and Willie Nelson’s “Devil In a Sleeping Bag” off his now classic album Shotgun Willie.
