Up on the Roof presents their August Event on Thursday, August 29th at 5:30 pm on the rooftop of Kent Square. Food, Beverages, Live Music, Fun and Good Friends! This month's music will be provided by The Guilty Pleasures and food samples will be courtesy of Mountain Lake, Holiday Inn in Christiansburg and Southbound BBQ and Sweets. Although admission to our event is FREE - In order to keep the high quality of our events through the season and help us attract young and creative professionals in the area that we hope will attend our events, we are asking you to consider donating either $5 or $9 (depending on the amount of drinks you want) to our non-profit, Downtown Events Inc, (the producers of Up on the Roof) at the entrance. It is still the best deal in town! In exchange for your donation you will get food, drink tickets and the opportunity to network and be social with like-minded people who are new or established in town! Otherwise, come join us for FREE and get a FREE drink, food and mingling time! Additional drink tickets are $3.00 each. You must be 21 to enter - please bring your ID.
