The Jacksonville Center for the Arts offers Watercolor Batiking with Bonnie Jones on Saturday, June 8th. Class Description: Bonnie’s technique of batik is a process of layers of watercolor paint and paraffin wax on Ginwashi rice paper, which is fun and challenging. She will reach you the process step by step and as the layers of wax and color builds it becomes more difficult to see the image and colors, but you will be completely surprised at how great your painting looks at the end! Material List: Bonnie will supply paint, paper and all waxing mterials for the $10 material fee! You also need: #3 Pigma Micron Pen by Sakura (Only this brand will work, if you cannot find it, Bonnie will have them for sale at the workshop.)
