The Fourth Annual 3.2 Run in Remembrance is held to remember the 32 Hokies who lost their lives on April 16, 2007. The event strives to bring fellow Hokies together, to feel the support of the community, and to celebrate the lives of our friends and family members. This year's event will be held on Saturday, April 14 at 8 a.m. rain or shine. The event will start on the Drillfield near War Memorial Gym and finish on near the April 16 Memorial across from Burruss Hall. In the event of inclement weather, the status of the run will be posted to the university homepage. The first 5,000 to pre-register will receive a commemorative t-shirt. All runners and walkers should check in prior to the run at War Memorial Hall on Friday, April 13th between 4pm-8pm or Saturday, April 14th between 6am-7:30am. YOU MUST BRING YOUR CONFIRMATION SHEET WITH YOUR BARCODE. Parking for the event is encouraged in the Perry Street parking lot and parking deck. Permits are not needed. All runners and walkers are encouraged to be a part of the 3.2-Mile Run in Remembrance photo that will be taken at 7:45 a.m. at the start line. A moment of silence will signal the start of the event.
