Wine and Roses (Band)
Biography:
From its beginnings five years ago as the house band at East River Arts, Wine and Roses (formerly Patient Jazz) has distinguished itself as one of this area’s best and most interesting groups. With a repertoire consisting of jazz standards, contemporary jazz, old-school blues and jazzy arrangements of pop tunes by artists like The Beatles, Steely Dan, Stevie Wonder and Sting. Wine and Jazz has played at clubs, festivals, coffee houses, restaurants… anywhere people like music that’s off the beaten path.
