The Friends of Claytor Lake (Civic)

Biography:

The Friends of Claytor Lake is a 501(C)3 non-profit started in 1992 to address a chemical spill that turned Peak Creek, one of Claytor Lake’s main tributaries, red. The organization has grown since then encompassing many areas of work on the lake such as debris clean up, water quality, habitat formation, boater safety, and more. The organization is dedicated to protecting the environment of Claytor Lake for all.
