Description:
Create your own jewelry designs in silver with Precious Metal Clay (PMC). In this workshop, beginners will learn all the basics of working with PMC. Forming, surface texturing, firing and finishing techniques will be covered.
Students will have the opportunity to complete a pendant with bail or a pair of earrings. The class fee includes use of all studio tools and 9 grams PMC3. Since the size of each individual project varies, extra clay will be available for purchase during the workshop.
Instructor Anne Armistead is a Certified Instructor through PMC Connection and has been creating jewelry for the last 7 years.
The class will be held in the Y Center Arts Classroom.
