The Blacksburg Library presents a Free Adult Book Fair on Thursday, July 23, 2026.

Remember the electric thrill of Scholastic Book Fair day, clutching your order form, eyes wide at the possibilities? We're bringing that magic back, just for grown-ups!

Browse free used books across every genre and choose from lots of bookish trinkets and treasures to take home. Then settle in at our book bedazzling station and give your favorite tome the bejeweled makeover it always deserved.

As folks enter the book fair, each participant will be given a ticket to pick out one free (used) book and two tickets to spend on bookish swag like stickers, bookmarks, temporary tattoos, keychains, etc. While supplies last.

This is your permission slip to be a kid in a book fair again!

For ages 18 & above.

The Blacksburg Library is located at 200 Miller Street in Blacksburg, VA.
