Relay for Life of Montgomery County presents their Banquet & Fundraiser on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at Central Church in Radford, VA.
Event Schedule:
• 3:00-4:00 PM: Check in - All / Survivor gifts
• 3:00-6:00 PM: Attendees can view and bid on silent auction items
• 4:00-6:00 PM: Eating with guest speaker, entertainment, recognitions, etc. Survivor recognition, caregiver recognition, sponsor recognitions, etc.
• 4:00 PM: Welcome/Open
• 4:10 PM: Survivor celebration "Step into victory parade"
• 4:25 PM: "Step into Action" will ask everyone to take a lap
Buffet Opens
• 4:45 PM: Entertainment: Clogging with Appalachian Aftershock
• 5:00-5:20 PM: Guest speakers
• 5:30-5:35 PM: Sponsor/Donor recognition - "Step Into Giving lap"
• 5:45 PM: Caregiver recognition and "Step into service"
• 6:00-7:30 PM: Continued entertainment/ceremony
• 6:00 PM: Speakers & ACS Video
• 6:15 PM: Daniel Davis
• 6:25 PM: Relay Memories - Slideshow
• 6:45 PM: "Step for Remembrance" with our luminaria lighting & ceremony
• 7:30 PM: Closing
• 7:30-9:00 PM: Clean up. Winners pick up silent auction items
The community is welcome to join the is heartfelt event! Guests will enjoy an evening filled with entertainment and inspiration, featuring live music by guitarist Daniel Davis, the Appalachian After Shock Cloggers along with upbeat music provided by DJ Biskits Mobile Music.
The event will also include a survivor and caregiver ceremony special donor recognition and team fundraisers.
Explore the silent auction and guests are invited to take part in our moving luminary ceremony. There will be pizza, baked goods and sodas for purchase for those who did not sign up for the buffet.
Relay for Life of Montgomery County, Virginia is a local Relay for Life organization.
Relay For Life is a fun-filled overnight event designed to celebrate survivorship and raise money for cancer research and programs of your American Cancer Society. During the event, teams take turns walking or running laps. Each team tries to keep at least one team member on the track at all times.
The organization also organizes and participates in other events throughout the year.
