Description:
The Rotary Club of Floyd County presents their 7th Annual Rotary Dog Show on Sunday, June 7, 2026 at the Warren G. Lineberry Memorial Park in Floyd, VA.

Event Schedule:
• 1:15 PM: Registration for Dogs
• 2:00 PM: Dog Show begins

The annual Floyd Rotary Dog Show returns bringing together dogs, families, and the community for a Floyd light-hearted and entertaining tradition.

The event welcomes dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities, including mixed breeds, for an afternoon focused on fun, laughter, and community spirit rather than a formal competition. Elena-Marie Weissenboeck, a current Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine student will be this year’s judge.

Classes for Dog Show are:
• Most Excited Dog
• Best Coat
• Best Treat Catcher
• Most Gorgeous Dog Over 8 Years Old
• Best Owner-Dog Look-a-Like Contest
• Best Trick
• Cutest Puppy Under 1 Year Old
• Best Eyes
• Best Mixed Breed Dog
• Best Purebred Dog
• Best Costume
• Best Child Handler Under 12 Years Old
• Dog Judge Would Most Like To Take Home

Bring your dog(s) to compete in one or more of the dog show classes and ribbons will be awarded for each class. This is a fun, relaxed event and is not a formal dog show with a conformation show style format. Mutts are welcome!

The cost of entry is $5.00 per class entered and ribbons will be awarded for each event. Spectators are free and encouraged to attend.

Registration is on site and begins at 1:15 PM with the dog show starting at 2:00 PM. Spectators are encouraged to attend, and there is no admission charge to watch. Participation is open to adults and children ages 9 and older.

The event is a fundraiser for a potential future dog park in Floyd, should a community-supported or local government project eventually take shape.

This dog show is intended to be a fun, light-hearted fundraiser with informal judging and a focus on community, not a serious competition. We understand that this style may not be for everyone, and we appreciate that expectations can vary. We hope those who attend are able to embrace the spirit and purpose of the event.

All dogs must should be on a leash and up to date on vaccinations.

The event is rain or shine.
