Jessie Peterman Library presents Literature in the Garden with the Junior Master Gardeners on Monday, June 5, 2023.

Do you have a child between the ages of 8-11? Are they interested in gardening? The theme for this program is Literature in the Garden.

Each weekly session will be built around a hands on lesson in our sensory garden along with the reading of a children's picture book. This volunteer led program will instill gardening knowledge and a love of reading to the group's participants.

Admission is free though registration is required.

We will be holding a Junior Master Gardener class every Monday, beginning June 5th and continuing through August 7th. We will meet each week from 2:00-3:00 PM to learn about different aspects of gardening. This program will take place in our community room and in our sensory garden.

Jessie Peterman Library is located at 321 West Main Street in Floyd, VA.
