The Chemistry Club at Virginia Tech presents their annual Chemical Illusions Show on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at Davidson Hall room 281 on the campus of Virginia Tech.

Chemical Illusions is a science show in which Virginia Tech students and professors perform chemical experiments and demos that are fun and magical, allowing children and the whole family to explore the wonders of modern chemistry.

During this event, children of all ages can enjoy spectacular demonstrations of important principles of chemistry including acids-and-bases, oxidations-and-reductions, the behavior of gases, and the properties of interesting materials from liquid molecular nitrogen to polymers.

All are invited and admission is free.

The American Chemical Society Student Affiliates at Virginia Tech is the Chemistry Club at Virginia Tech. The Student Affiliates program supports undergraduate students, their faculty, and the local section members in promoting professional development, mentoring, and peer-support mechanisms for those majoring in the chemical sciences.

Giving students the professional edge, student affiliation allows students to network with top professionals, attend scientific meetings, and directly access research.
