As part of the 2019 National Solar Tour, there is a resident led Solar Open House and Tour at resident homes located within Warm Hearth Village on Sunday, October 13, 2019.

Learn more about home solar power, electric vehicles and electric vehicle charging stations. We will have information about costs and return on investment, efficiency, monitoring systems, and you will be able to view solar systems at several locations in Warm Hearth Village.

Owners and installers will be on hand to answer questions and discuss installation details. Light refreshments will be served.

This event is free and open to the public, everyone is welcome to attend.

Whether you are a solar owner, completely new to solar, or somewhere in between – this event is for you.

The starting point for meeting home owners using solar power is at 2121 Blue Jay Lane in Blacksburg, VA located within the Woods Edge section in Warm Hearth Village.
