Downtown Christiansburg Inc. (DCI) wraps up the 2019 Movies Off Main series featuring a free screening of "Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope", the original Star Wars film, on Friday, August 23, 2019 on Hickok Street in downtown Christiansburg, VA.

• 7:30 pm: Cantina Dance Party
• At Dusk: Film begins
Enjoy the third and final installment of the 2019 Movies off Main! "Star Wars: A New Hope". Bring the whole family as well as any blankets and chairs to make your evening more comfortable. As always, free popcorn will be provided and other concessions will be available for purchase.
The 1977 sci-fi classic is rated PG. Luke Skywalker joins forces with a Jedi Knight, a cocky pilot, a Wookiee and two droids to save the galaxy from the Empire's world-destroying battle station, while also attempting to rescue Princess Leia from the mysterious Darth Vader.

In case of inclement weather, event organizers will make a decision regarding the movie by noon. If the movie is cancelled due to weather, it will not be rescheduled.
