The Giles County Historical Society Museum continues the John K. Hale Lectures Series with the lecture "Traditions in Appalachian Folk Music" on Thursday, September 20, 2018.
Radford University Appalachian Studies Center instructor and bluegrass and old time musician Ricky Cox will lead the lecture. Learn about the origins and influences of Appalachian folk music and enjoy some examples from Ricky.
Admission is free and all are welcome.
The museum is located at 208 North Main street in Pearisburg, VA.
