Montgomery County Public Schools Special Education, Parent Resource Center and PEATC present the program "Taming the Tornado: Understanding and Managing ADHD at Home and School" on Monday, March 26, 2018 at the Montgomery County School Board Office.
This workshop provides a general overview of ADHD-describing what ADHD is, the common myths associated with the diagnosis, a deeper look at females with ADHD, and early indicators that may be overlooked.
Participants will also learn what type of behaviors may be seen at home and at school. Attendees will learn about executive function and ADHD and how accommodations and modifications can level the playing field.
Finally, participants will develop behavior management tactics.
