"Whether they are whimsical or grisly, APORIA's pieces confront my fanciful imagination and breathe life into creatures, demons, ghouls, and people. Pulling from my traditional studies, love of tattoo flash, and admiration of Instagram illustrators, I've created a body of work that is an inventive juxtaposition of the macabre and the humorous.

I drew pictures as a child and I have continued to draw pictures.."

-- Timothy Hawks

APORIA will be on dispaly at the XYZ Gallery from June 29 until July 13, 2017 from 7-9 pm daily except Mondays.
