Kodokan Aikido of Virginia Tech presents an Introduction to Aikido during their Open Enrollment which is available through Saturday, June 3, 2017 at War Memorial Gym on the campus of Virginia Tech.

Aikido is known as the art of peace, and practitioners of the art try to control the encounter striving to prevent injury for all involved. We are on Virginia Tech campus, however we welcome anyone 18 years or older that can sign a injury wavier to register.

Come to our Summer classes starting Tuesday, May 23rd, 2017 in War Memorial Gym Dance Room. Classes are Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00-7:45 pm as well as on Saturdays from 2:00-4:00 pm. We ask everyone to be ready for class at least 15 minutes prior to class starting.

First timers should wear a loose t-shirt and full length workout pants as we do 'knee walking' as part of the class. Bring a water bottle as the dojo can be warm during practice.
