New River Valley Rocketry hosts a free High Power and Model Rocket Launch on Saturday, April 29, 2017 on property owned by Virginia Tech in the Prices Fork area toward Long Shop.
Rockets will be launched from just a few inches in size to the big daddy 10-15 footers that echo off the mountains! Come Fly with us, or just watch! It's fun for the whole family!
Want to fly one yourself? We can help you do it safely. Bring your own rocket, use one of our free loaner rockets or buy your own motor and rocket to build, launch and then take home!
STEM Educators:
We can help almost any STEM groups or schools bring in groups of kids, just please contact us ahead of time to help us prepare to accommodate your group. Send any related questions to officers(at)nrvr.org.
