The Virginia Tech School of Performing Arts presents the Music on Mondays concert "On The Eve Of The Great War" featuring cellist Wesley Baldwin and pianist Tracy Cowden on Monday, February 27, 2017 at the Squires Recital Salon.
This performance features stunning music written during the turbulent years surrounding the “Great War,” including music of Debussy, Rachmaninoff, Webern, Hindemith, Boulanger, Kodály, and Foote; composers that were touched by the war in deep ways.
Tickets can be purchased at the Ticket Office on the first floor of Squires Student Center, by phone at 540-231-5615, online or at the door one hour prior to the performance if available.
