The Blacksburg Community Band presents their 2016 Holiday Pops Concert on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at the Blacksburg High School Auditorium.

The Blacksburg Community Band, under the direction of Jay A. Durner, will perform a variety of familiar and unfamiliar tunes to help get you ready for the holidays. The whole family will enjoy this holiday spirit-filled concert.

Children will even get the chance to visit with Santa Claus.

Admission is free with refreshments to follow.

The Blacksburg Community Band, Inc. is an all-volunteer community organization formed in 1989 under the auspices of the Department of Parks and Recreation in the Town of Blacksburg, Virginia. The band is under the direction of David McKee.

The ensemble is open to individuals of all ages and ability levels from the New River Valley and surrounding areas and performs in an average of 20 concerts each year throughout the New River Valley. The band was incorporated in Virginia as a non-profit corporation in 2007.
