Queer Dance Blacksburg and Community Pride in Blacksburg presents Heated Rivalry: A Pride Dance Party on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at Blacksburg Dance Theater in the Open Space Studios.

Whether you're Team Shane, Team Ilya, or just here for the vibes, join us for "Heated Rivalry: A Pride Dance Party" during Community Pride Week!

Inspired by the beloved hockey romance Heated Rivalry, this dance party celebrates queer joy, community, and a little friendly competition. Come dressed to impress for our costume contest, bring your favorite beverage, and dance the night away with fellow fans, friends, and allies.

There will also be a costume contest. BYOB.

The cover is $5.00 at the door.

We can't promise any stupid Canadian wolf-bird sightings, but we can promise great music, a welcoming atmosphere, and a groovin’ dance floor.

For ages 21 & up.

The dance party is BYOB.
