The Floyd Farm Bureau, VA Cooperative Extension presents the 18th Floyd County Fair will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at the Floyd Family Campground.

Schedule of Events:
• 10:00 AM: Main Gates Open to Attendees
• 10:15 AM: Appalachian After Shock Dancers on Main Stage
• 10:30 AM: Lord Willin’ Shearin’ Demo
• 10:45 AM: Cake Walk at Farm Bureau Area ($1.00)
• 11:00 AM: Mixed Gospel on Main Stage
• 11:30 AM: Free Duckapalooza Demo -Field- FREE
• 11:30 AM: Market Lamb Scales Close (must be weighed in by 11:30 AM)
• 11:30 AM: Fly a kite - Got Wind- Kite section- FREE
• 11:45 AM: Cake Walk at Farm Bureau Area ($1.00)
• 12:00 PM: Lord Willin’ Shearin’ Demo
• 12:30 PM: Main Stage-Garry Collins-Free
• 12:45 PM: Cake Walk at Farm Bureau Area ($1.00)
• 1:30 PM: Market Lamb Show & Youth Open Hen Show

The 2024 theme is "Sew It, Grow It, Show It". It is truly a county fair with live animals, baked goods, sewing, plants, exhibits, hay ride, vendors, tractors, neighbors and so much more! Each year we gather as a community to celebrate Floyd County's rich agricultural heritage with fun for the whole family.

• Free Hay Rides every 30 minutes starting 10:15 AM through 3:15 PM

• Horseback Riding
• Contests
• and so much more!

Bingo will be held at the Country Store (center of festival field) at every half hour beginning at 10:30 AM until 3:30 PM. Hosted by the MS Alliance.

The Floyd County Fair is hosting the annual exhibits contests again this year and we would love for you to enter. It is free to enter and if you win you will receive ribbons and money. Entries will be accepted on Thursday, September 12th from 12:00-6:00 PM in the barn at Floyd Family Campground.

Admission is $5.00 for ages 13 & up, $3.00 for ages 6-12 and free for kids 5 & under.

Carnival Games tickets are $1.00 and available at the Country Store Window. All proceeds will benefit non-profits of Floyd County.

The event is rain or shine.

Camping is available.

Floyd Family Campground is located at 2697 Franklin Pike in Floyd, VA.
