The Marketplace continues with the final Friends of Peak Creek Nature Series on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at the Pulaski Train Station.
The final session of our Summer Nature Series will feature guest speakers Mike Arden, Wildlife Health Technician and Kathleen Black, District Wildlife Biologist with the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources, presenting the program "Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD): A Growing Concern for Virginia's Deer."
This presentation will look at how CWD affects hunting practices as well as the ecological and economic impacts of the disease. The presentation will be given at 5:00 PM with a question-and-answer session. Contact info@friendsofpeakcreek.org.
