UPDATE: The weather forecast isn't cooperating with us for opening day on Saturday, May 27th. We will delay opening until Tuesday, May 30th at 11:00 AM. The weekend forecast is calling for rain and temperatures below 70 degrees. As a reminder, the external air temperature must be a minimum of 70 degrees for the pool to open.

The Frog Pond opens for the 2023 season starting on the weekend of Saturday, May 27, 2023 through Monday, May 29, 2023.

The Frog Pond is a great place to hang out and relax during the summer. The pool has a zero-depth entry for those wanting to take their time and ease into the water. It also has a maximum depth of eight feet for those who want to make a splash and jump right in!

The Frog Pond has a children's pool equipped with a water-spouting whale and a bubbler. There are four slides in the big pool - three tube slides and a frog slide.

There is also plenty of room to sit back and enjoy the sunshine poolside.

Concessions are offered through the Lilly Pad Café, which is operated by Hethwood Market in Blacksburg.

Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an individual age 16 or older.

Coolers, food, and non-alcoholic drinks are allowed.

Hours:
• Saturdays and Weekdays: 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Sundays: 12:00 to 6:00 PM
Note: All hours are subject to change.

The pool season runs from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
