The Town of Christiansburg and the Christiansburg Parks & Rec continues their Rockin' Main Street Concert Series featuring music from Barren Minds and Lyn Avenue on Saturday, June 11, 2022 along the intersection of Main Street and Roanoke Street in downtown Christiansburg, VA.

Music Schedule:
• 5:00 PM: Barren Minds
• 7:00 PM: Lyn Avenue

Celebrate food and music in downtown Christiansburg! Live performances by local bands Barren Minds and Lyn Avenue. Attendees can purchase food and drinks from a selection of food trucks and wine and beer vendors. Patrons are encouraged to bring lawn chairs to sit and enjoy the live performances.

Barren Minds plays a mix of 60s, 70s and 80s rock as well as some original material that has a blues and rock influence.

The band was originally formed while they were students at Christiansburg High, they placed multiple times in the annual Shelor Motor Mile Grow The Future Regional High School Talent Show.

Over the last few years, Lyn Avenue has honed a sound that's both timeless in its classic-inspired songwriting yet refreshingly modern in its genre-blending and originality. Driven by rich vocals, electrifying leads, and boot stomping rhythms, Lyn Avenue is a burning ember of authentic country music.

Tables and chairs will be set up along Main Street. However, attendants are encouraged to bring lawn chairs to sit at the square and watch the live music.

Admission is free and all are welcome.
