Description:
The Mayapple School presents their 3rd Annual Plant Sale and Paint-a-Pot Fundraiser on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at Glade Road Growing in Blacksburg, VA.

Event Schedule:
• 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM: Plant Sale
• 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM: Beverages & Snacks on Sale
• 12:00-2:00 PM: Paint-a-Pot Activity

The Mayapple School, a nature-based preschool for children ages 3-6 years old, is hosting their annual plant sale in conjunction with Glade Row Growing and Rising Silo Brewery. This is your chance to buy Certified Naturally Grown organic vegetables and native plants grown by our local farmers at Glade Row Growing and our students at the Mayapple School.

The paint-a-pot activity is for kids and families. Purchase a four inch terra cotta pot from the plant sale and we will provide the painting supplies and craft tables. Plant and paint-a-pot prices will vary based on type and quantity.

• Oklahoma Formula Mix Improved Zinnia
• Steamers Chocolate Sweet Pea
• Genovese Organic Basil
• Oregano
• Common Chamomile
• Tomatoes: Pink Berkeley Tie Dye, Gold Nugget, Early Girl, Striped German and Sakura
• Red Noodle Bean
• Flash Collard
• Super Verde Tomatillo
• Savor Melon
• Olympus Bell Pepper
• Monty Broccoli
• Corinto Organic Cucumber

All proceeds go to the Mayapple School's scholarship fund.

Additionally, a portion of food and beverage sales from Rising Silo will be donated to the school during this time.

Come out and get your garden ready for spring, paint-a-pot, or enjoy food and beverages all to support a local nonprofit preschool!
