The Pearisburg Merchants Association presents the 5th Annual Pearisburg Scarecrow Festival on Saturday, October 12, 2019 on Wenonah Avenue and Tazewell Streets in downtown Pearisburg, VA.

Join in the fun of this family friendly event featuring two stages of live music, vendors, food, contests, car cruise-in & show, Kazim clowns, dog show, kids activities, petting zoo and lots more! Featured guests are the scarecrows, created by local businesses, organizations and groups, that will be displayed throughout the town.

Special guests include the Tron Nation Scarecrow, Cinderella and WWE Hall of Famer the Boogie Woogie Man Jimmy Valiant.

Tentative Schedule of Events:

On Wenonah Avenue:
• 10:00 am: Giles Community Singers
• 10:30 am: Giles County School of Dance
• 12:30 pm: Cutest Baby Contest, Costume Contest & Cutest Farmer Contest
• 1:00 pm: Dog Show
• 2:00 pm: Dance Motion
• 3:00 pm: Crystal River Band

On Tazewell Street:
• 10:00 am: Welcome with Mayor Dickerson
• 10:15 am: Spirits of Joy
• 11:00 am: Wilderness Road Chorus
• 12:00 pm: Terry Mullins
• 1:00 pm: Tommy Griffith
• 2:00 pm: Mike Wade

At Gearhead Junction:
• 5:00-7:00 pm: Common Ground Band

Admission is free and all are welcome. Some activities have an additional charges.
