Bonkerz Comedy Club - Blacksburg presents Comedy Night featuring headliner Chris Cope and a special guest Melissa Douty on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at McClain's at First & Main.
Comedian Chris Cope is a Florida transplant currently living in Los Angeles, California. LA’s been great to Chris thus far. In his short time in town, Chris has appeared on Conan, The Jimmy Kimmel Show, Laughs on FOX, Tosh.0, Grey’s Anatomy and Amazon’s Inside Joke with Asif Ali.
His southern charm isn’t limited to stage and screen. He has just released his first full length comedy album, "White Trash Super Computer", which debuted in the Top 10 on Amazon.com and Top 25 on Itunes. Check Chris out on Pandora and Spotify or performing at comedy clubs, casinos and festivals all over the United States. Chris also won the prestigious 2015 Big Sky Comedy Festival and recently appeared as a judge on Netflix’s Cooking On High.

Melissa Douty (aka ComicMD) brings her unique, authentic comedy to every show encompassing fans of all ages. Very personable with an almost ‘Aw, shucks’ delivery, Melissa‘s comedy is sort of like that really smooth liquor that is so easy to drink and then hits you like a sledgehammer out of nowhere!
Melissa is a nationally touring comedian based in Salem, VA. Melissa brings the same slap your knee enthusiasm to every show, from backyard cookouts, comedy clubs and corporate events, to the big lights and big stages of large theaters! Known for her clean comedy, down-home charm and quick-wit Melissa appeals to fans both young and old.
