The Oak Lane Community at Virginia Tech presents the 19th Annual Oak Lane Trick or Treat on Friday, October 25, 2019.

The Oak Lane Community of Virginia Tech will be hosting a free, safe option for you and your child to dress up in costume, trick or treat, and meet the women and men who are a part of the Virginia Tech Greek community.

The afternoon will consist of your child traveling around the different houses in the Oak Lane Community, located on the Virginia Tech campus, guided by sorority women and fraternity men to get treats and participate in fun, fall-themed games! We will have other members of the Virginia Tech community there included the Virginia Tech Police Department and a haunted house hosted by the Relay for Life organization.

There will be plenty of picture opportunities that will occur so do not forget your camera, and be sure to bring something to collect all the candy! We have a bouncy castle and fun activities at every house!

There will also be a safe house with sensory boxes for the kids who may prefer a more quiet area to enjoy the festivities.

We look forward to these events that allow us to share our smaller community with the larger Blacksburg, Christiansburg and New River Valley communities. We have had great turnouts in past years and are excited for another great year!


All are welcome and no registration required.

The Oak Lane Community is located at 3205 Oak Lane in Blacksburg, VA on the campus of Virginia Tech.
