The Virginia Tech Alumni Association presents Pregame HokieTalks featuring Technology on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Assembly Hall located within the Holtzman Alumni Center on the campus of Virginia Tech.

Speaker Lineup and Topics:
• "Will intelligent machines become human? AI, cybernetics, and the future of humanity" by Sylvester Johnson, College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences


• "Supply chains for disaster relief operations" by Chris Zobel, Pamplin College of Business


• "Assistive technologies for aging farmers" by Alexander Leonessa, College of Engineering

Our game day lecture series features top Virginia Tech faculty giving 10-minute talks followed by a Q&A session with the audience.

Admission is free and all are welcome.

Note: This event will be on Saturday morning because the Hokie Football Team plays on Friday night.
