The Ricky Jones Memorial Scholarship hosts the 2019 Annual Pig Wrestling Fundraiser on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at The Mad Cow Arena in Dublin, VA.

Schedule:
• 10:00 am - 11:30 pm: Registration Open
• 11:00 am - 3:00 pm: Concessions
• 12:00-3:00 pm: Pig Wrestling

Join in the action for the annual Pig Wrestling event! Teams of three, in age groups from Pee-Wee to Seniors, will try their hand at catching the pig for the fastest time. Groups of three are preferred, but organizers will do their best to try and find groups for individual registrants.

Age Groups:
• Pee-Wee (Ages 5 & Under)
• Elementary (1st-5th grade)
• Middle (6th-8th grade)
• High (9th-12th)
• Adult (18 or older)

All Pee Wee participants will receive a t-shirt. First place winners for Elementary, Middle, High School and Adult Classes will receive an award to be determined.

Spectators are free.

Concessions will be available starting at 11:00 am through the end of the event.

The Ricky Jones Memorial scholarship was established in 2010 in memory of Ricky Jones, an avid agribusiness man and farmer in Pulaski, Virginia. Every year, at the annual Pulaski County High School FFA Banquet, the scholarship is presented to the recipient(s). The scholarship is given based on a culmination of academic achievements, extra-curricular activities, recommendations and an application essay.
