Southwest Virginia Ballet hosts Open Auditions for "The Nutcracker" on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at Tanglewood Mall in Roanoke, VA.

Southwest Virginia Ballet Auditions for The Nutcracker are open to children ages 7 or older who love to dance and perform. Dance experience is preferred, but not required.

Roles include: mice, soldiers, angels and reindeer.

Please bring the filled out registration form, a positive attitude and a smile. Dancers are assigned role(s) at the audition and requested to accept or decline participation by the following weekend, Saturday, September 14th.

The Nutcracker performance will be on December 13-15 at the Berglund Center, Roanoke.

For over 25 years, Southwest Virginia Ballet has brought quality pre-professional dance to our community through full-length productions of varied repertoire including classical ballet, contemporary, and new works. They provide, free of charge, the highest quality of pre-professional training possible to young dancers, promoting cultural enrichment and awareness of the art of dance.
