The Mount Tabor Ruritan Club presents the free Annual July 4th Family Movie with a screening of the animated film "Over the Hedge" on Thursday, July 4, 2019 at the Lyric Theatre starting immediately after the Blacksburg Parade which should be around 3:00 pm.

The animated and award winning 2006 film "Over the Hedge" is rated PG and stars the voices of Bruce Willis, Garry Shandling and Steve Carell.

Movie Synopsis:
A scheming raccoon fools a mismatched family of forest creatures into helping him repay a debt of food, by invading the new suburban sprawl that popped up while they were hibernating and learns a lesson about family himself.
