Dan Carrell is a singer and songwriter from Roanoke, Virginia. Dan blends reggae, rock, rap and acoustic genres for a unique experience!

In the early 2000's, Dan's music career started like many other young high school kid's, playing talent shows, Battle of the Bands, and showing off for friends during lunch. He continued to play music in various bands after graduating high school and college.

In late 2009, Dan joined the reggae and rock group Shorefire as a founding member. Shorefire still continues to tour locally as well as providing support for nationally recognized acts. Additionally, Dan plays in an acoustic duo called Steele Y Dan! with fellow Shorefire bandmate, Steele Whisnant.

After over 10 years of experience performing acoustically with other artists, as well as performing with several bands, participating in promotional work, booking, event planning and supporting other live local music acts, Dan is taking a step in a different direction as a solo acoustic recording artist.

With his debut album in the works, listeners can expect to hear an extremely raw record that provides a new and unique sound for Dan, balanced with the same vulnerability captured in his written lyrics.
