Claytor Lake State Park presents a Father’s Day Fishing Event at Claytor Lake's Water Edge Meeting Facility on Sunday, June 16, 2019.

Join the rangers for a Father's Day Fishing Event. Enjoy a short fishing lesson or a casting practice game for beginning fisherman of all ages. View aquatic critters and their habitat under the lake with our underwater camera and watch a fly tying demonstration presented by a local fly fisherman. Or just go fishing!

Fishing equipment and bait will be provided, but feel free to bring your own. Ages 16 and older will need to have a valid Virginia fishing license.

Note: Licenses are available for purchase in the Park Office and Water's Edge Meeting Facility Gift Shop.
