Description:
The 2019 Kevin Jones Youth Football Training Camp will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2019 and Sunday, June 23, 2019 at the Johnson / Miller Track Complex on the campus of Virginia Tech.
Kevin Jones Football Camp is a two-day instructional camp designed to mimic a real NFL training camp for children ages 6-14. The camp was created by Kevin Jones, a Virginia Tech Sports Hall of Famer and retired NFL player, and is run by Kevin, various NFL players including the Pittsburg Steelers Trey Edmunds, and members of the Virginia Tech coaching staff.
Although Kevin is retired, he enjoys sharing his knowledge of football, as well as teaching the importance of teamwork, self-discipline, and education. Through this camp, Kevin and his staff aim to instill these values in the lives of the campers to help positively shape their future goals and aspirations.
Besides instruction and seminars, camp registration includes a camp t-shirt, group photo, autograph signing, gift bag and lunch is provided daily.
The cost for the camp is $130.00 for ages 6-9 and $160.00 for ages 10-14.

The camp is designed as a “drop-off style camp” with the option to have parents and spectators watch throughout the day’s activities. Ages 6-8 will attend camp from 9:00 am - 1:10 pm and ages 10-14 from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm.

The camp is non-contact and no prior experience is necessary. The camper will need workout clothing such as a t-shirt, shorts and workout shoes. Do not bring helmets, shoulder pads, etc.
Campers are taught at an approximately 10:1 ratio. This ratio ensures that campers receive individual and team instruction on both offense and defense at camp.
